This editorial was conceived and produced during a five-day bikepacking journey across Sardinia, covering a total distance of 582 km. Rather than documenting a single event or location, the project follows the rhythm of the ride itself — long hours on the road, changing light, fatigue, encounters, and moments of stillness.

Both the photographs and the text were created while riding the entire route, allowing the story to be told from within the experience. The aim was not to illustrate performance, but to convey the essence of the journey: the relationship between cyclists and landscape, the diversity of terrain, and the quiet intensity of multi-day travel by bike.

The resulting image set balances wide landscapes, environmental portraits and everyday moments, shaping a cohesive visual narrative that reflects the beauty, effort and simplicity of long-distance cycling.
